Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Schedule appointments and handle patient registration efficiently
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate billing documentation
- Inventory medical supplies and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Washington State MA certification
