Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests per protocolMaintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic workflows
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Inventory and order medical supplies and equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital or clinic setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- CPR certification with BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
