Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including measuring vital signs and recording medical history.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood draws (phlebotomy).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage front-desk administrative duties.
- Order and manage medical supplies and inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients of all ages.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA or RMA certification preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
