Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterile equipment
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Coordinate referrals and lab results
- Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Electronic Medical Records preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Arizona medical assistant license
