Responsibilities
- Perform basic life support and prepare patients for examinations.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist physicians with procedures and prepare medical instruments.
- Manage patient records, updating electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle front desk reception duties.
- Administer medications as directed by providers and monitor patient reactions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician office setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
