Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by escorting them to exam rooms, reviewing their medical history, and preparing them for the provider.
  • Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures including phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
  • Assist providers during examinations by documenting patient information, preparing instruments, and providing necessary supplies.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and provide education on medication and treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
