Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient examinations and accurately record vital signs.
- Assist physicians during patient visits and clinical procedures.
- Manage patient records, including updating electronic health records (EHR) and maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems.
