As a Medical Assistant, you will be the vital link between our patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone we serve.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, weight, and height measurements.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Assist providers with patient exams and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient intake, insurance verification, and scheduling.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding test results and care instructions.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assisting (CMA/RMA preferred).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
