Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures, including patient examinations, injections, and wound care
- Accurately prepare and maintain medical records using EMR systems
- Perform vital signs monitoring and basic diagnostic tests
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with UK healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare or equivalent medical assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a UK healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., SystmOne, EMIS)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and clinical safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Valid UK Driver's License and reliable transport (if required for home visits)
