Your Role:
You will be the face of patient care, ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences. If you are proactive, empathetic, and ready to work hard, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during medical procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as EKGs and phlebotomy, following strict safety protocols.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and manage the front desk flow efficiently.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Order and stock medical supplies to ensure the clinic is fully equipped.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification is mandatory.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth) is a plus.
