Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records and maintain electronic health documentation
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized
- Coordinate referrals and lab testing logistics
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to multitask in high-volume setting
- Nevada state license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Spanish language skills a plus
