Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure smooth clinic workflows
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile examination environments and inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
