Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient medical records using EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (AAMA, AMT, or NCCT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficient in EHR systems and medical documentation
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
