Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and compliant with OSHA standards
- Administer injections and medications per provider orders
- Assist in maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome with training)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Background check and drug screen required
