Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient flow efficiency
- Handle telehealth consultations remotely (50% of role)
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in remote capacity
- Tennessee state license (if applicable)
