Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and unit protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and care coordination
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records and maintain regulatory compliance
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform diagnostic procedures
- Provide patient/family education and emotional support throughout the care continuum
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Colorado
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years of experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS and/or specialty certifications preferred
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and emergency response
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
