Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals measurement, and medical history recording.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Manage patient flow, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred; state license required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/BLS certification.
