Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, take medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and administer medications as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries.
- Process insurance verifications and ensure accurate billing documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients of all backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
