Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized patient flow
- Handle sterilization of equipment and maintain clinical supply inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; medical assistant certification preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days of hire)
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Pass background check and drug screening
