Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign checks and prepare patients for examinations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Indiana state BLS certification required
- Valid Indiana driver's license (for occasional travel between sites)
