Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations and educate them on treatment plans.
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently and confidentially.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by a provider.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
