Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vital signs, and medical histories.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens (phlebotomy skills preferred).
- Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications and treatments.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage front desk reception duties.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety.
