Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, accurately measure vital signs, and review medical histories.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage front-office operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Document patient encounters and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
