Role Overview:

As a Medical Assistant, you will be the vital link between our patients and our clinical team. You will ensure a smooth patient experience by managing administrative tasks, assisting with examinations, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and verify demographic information accurately.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature).
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures, including specimen collection and EKGs.

Qualifications

  • Current California Medical Assistant license.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician's office or clinic setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
