Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Record patient medical histories, vitals, and symptoms accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and point-of-care testing.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Assist with front desk administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance verification.
- Ensure patient comfort and answer questions regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification or diploma from an accredited program.
- CPR and BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
