Responsibilities

  • Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and record accurate data in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with examinations and procedures.
  • Assist providers with rooming patients, charting, and specimen collection.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized environment to prevent infection and cross-contamination.
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider.
  • Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage referrals.

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Active state license or permit to practice in Washington (WA) and Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
