Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals monitoring, and medical history recording with accuracy.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment for patient use.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens in accordance with safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and prescription refills.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using our EHR system.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients of all ages.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a physician office or clinic setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) software.
