Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure a comfortable clinical environment.
  • Vitals & Procedures: Accurately measure vital signs, administer injections, and perform basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy).
  • Administrative Duties: Manage patient intake, update electronic health records (EHR) accurately, and handle insurance verification.
  • Coordination: Schedule appointments, coordinate lab work, and communicate effectively with patients and referring physicians.
  • Education: Provide patient education on medication, treatments, and preventative care plans.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification required.
  • Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
