Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vital signs, and medical history assessments.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and confidence.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean clinic environment.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle front-desk administrative tasks.
- Collect and process lab specimens accurately, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and wellness.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid Washington State driver's license and reliable transportation.
