Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, including obtaining vital signs and medical history.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by licensed providers.
- Perform basic phlebotomy and EKG procedures with precision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment between patients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and explain procedures clearly.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or ambulatory setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
