Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform accurate vital signs, ECGs, and phlebotomy services
- Manage electronic health records with HIPAA-compliant precision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer medications and injections per physician orders
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Provide exceptional patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic overnight schedules
