Responsibilities
- Conduct Patient Intake: Greet patients, verify insurance information, and prepare them for examinations.
- Vitals and Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Assist Providers: Support physicians and nurses during procedures and examinations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Phlebotomy: Perform blood draws and basic laboratory tests as required.
Qualifications
- Certification: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a night shift role.
- Licensure: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Schedule: Availability to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and strong interpersonal communication.
