Responsibilities
- Perform accurate clinical assessments including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy during overnight hours
- Assist physicians with minor procedures and maintain sterile examination environments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent overnight cases
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment readiness for next-day operations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to maintain current status
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts as needed
