Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform EKGs under provider supervision
- Accurately update electronic health records (EHRs) and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, and billing documentation
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide post-care instructions
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- PA state certification and BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
