Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, vitals monitoring, and health history assessments during night shifts.
- Perform and assist with phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment for the next day's operations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain accurate, confidential electronic health records (EHR) in real-time.
- Assist with patient triage and communication between night staff and day shift providers.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all patients arriving late.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with night shift experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work rotating night schedules and holidays.
