Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in a calm, professional environment.
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment for the night shift rotation.
- Manage patient intake, check-in, and check-out processes with precision and speed.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Handle patient billing inquiries and insurance verification with high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure a seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Must be available to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
