Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents and patients at all times.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient condition, and symptoms accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active Pennsylvania CNA License (required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or home health setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as necessary (mobility assistance).
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
