Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and escort them to exam rooms for a seamless check-in experience.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with patient examinations, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure medical equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Vitals & Procedures: Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) and perform basic procedures such as EKGs and phlebotomy as directed.
- Charting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) using our advanced EMR systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels of medications and medical supplies, and place orders when necessary to ensure zero downtime.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and process referrals with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification required.
- Licensure: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills with experience in EMR/EHR software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Compliance: Ability to adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
