Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals and health assessments.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare patients for procedures and educate them on post-care instructions.
- Manage and maintain accurate medical records and EHR documentation.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens according to strict protocols.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and answer inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent state certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset.
