Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and health histories accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and examination rooms for night shift use.
- Draw blood and perform basic laboratory tests as required.
- Manage patient billing, insurance verification, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide compassionate patient education and post-procedure care instructions.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
