In this role, you will play a vital role in the patient experience, ensuring comfort and care during their visit.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including recording medical history and taking vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Draw blood and administer injections under strict medical supervision.
- Manage patient records and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) with 100% accuracy.
- Ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with clinical rotations are welcome.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with medical software and computer systems.
