Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes and vitals monitoring during the night shift.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient education.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and lab specimens.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the shift.
- Collaborate effectively with the night shift nursing and clinical team.
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and medication refills.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably with night shift experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
