What You Will Do:
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient triage.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing accurately.
- Manage patient intake and maintain medical records in the EMR system.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and health histories accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
- Manage patient flow and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Document patient interactions and care plans in the EMR system.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide emotional support.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
