Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, measurements, and EKGs accurately and efficiently.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
- Manage patient records and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for the next shift.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the night shift nursing team.
- Handle front desk duties, including insurance verification and scheduling when needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably night shift.
- Must be available to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EHR software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- San Francisco residency or willing to relocate.
