Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, registration, and vital sign monitoring throughout the night shift.
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and wound care.
- Manage patient records and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed physicians.
- Coordinate follow-up care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) or equivalent experience required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
