Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and triage in fast-paced night shift environment
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic or EpicCare preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
