Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Status: Observe and report changes in patient health, mood, and behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide compassionate assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Medication Support: Remind patients to take prescribed medications and report any adverse reactions.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients remain clean, comfortable, and socially engaged throughout the shift.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a sanitized, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and valid Florida CNA license required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
