Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and vaccinations per protocols
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Document patient encounters in EHR systems accurately
- Triage patient calls and manage after-hours care coordination
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
