Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare patients for treatments and take vital signs
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms
- Schedule patient appointments and handle basic billing
- Provide patient education on health maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Certification or willingness to obtain (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Basic computer skills and EHR knowledge preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
