Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of Wisconsin.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to complete hospital orientation and training programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient advocacy.
